Brisbane Festival 2009 presents BF09 UNDER THE RADAR featuring

An invitation to slumber in the heart of the city.

Drift off to translucent sounds in curator Daniel Santangeli’s DJing While You Sleep – an inimitable sensory experience that combines the talents of internationally renowned composers Joel Stern and Lawrence English with fringe sound artist Thom Browning.

Surreal and illusory, DJing While You Sleep invites audiences into the Basement to experience the stillness of sleep in the comfort of bedding provided. At 75 minutes – the equivalent of one sleep cycle – each performance is mixed live and thus entirely unique. Indulge in a daytime siesta or evening slumber and be blanketed by sound.

Beds for DJing While You Sleep are strictly limited – book early to avoid dissapointment.

This is a rare, honest theatrical experience not to be missed.
